I started Collapse Prepper because I saw the writing on the wall.
Over the last few years, it’s become harder to ignore how unstable things have gotten—politically, economically, socially, globally. Supply chains failed. Cities unraveled. Trust in institutions slipped. And through it all, I realized something that stuck with me: no one is coming to save us.
Like most people, I didn’t grow up thinking I’d become a “prepper.” I wasn’t stockpiling MREs in a bunker or training for the apocalypse. I was just paying attention. And what I saw was enough to convince me that if I wanted to protect the people I love, I needed to get serious about being prepared.
But when I started looking for guidance, most of what I found felt off.
Too extreme. Too vague. Too shallow. A lot of fear, a lot of noise, and not a lot of real help.
So I built Collapse Prepper for people like me—and maybe people like you. People who don’t want to live in fear, but want to be ready. People who are tired of the constant noise, but still want to know what’s coming. People who may not be ex-military or survival experts, but still want to protect their families and stand on their own two feet.
This site is about cutting through the nonsense and getting to what matters: the skills, habits, gear, and mindset it takes to live with confidence in a chaotic world. It’s not about politics or paranoia. It’s about being clear-eyed, capable, and ahead of the curve.
Everything I share here is built on that mindset. I focus on practical, beginner-friendly guides that go deep—not fluff. Gear reviews that are actually useful. Strategies for urban and everyday scenarios. And real-world insights about the growing signs of collapse that most people choose to ignore.
I don’t pretend to be a special forces operator or survival guru. I’m just someone who believes we’re heading into turbulent times—and that more people should be ready for it. If that resonates with you, you’re in the right place.
I hope Collapse Prepper helps you feel more confident, more aware, and more prepared for whatever comes next.
